Four Israeli airstrikes targeted the city of Tyre on Wednesday,
just 500 meters from the city’s ancient ruins, a UNESCO world heritage site.
Following an Israeli evacuation warning covering large swathes of the city, civil defense rushed to warn residents to leave.
Only 14,500 people remain in the city, many of them displaced from other parts of the south.
