This Sunday marked the end of the Lebanese Film Festival of France (LFFF), an event that has become a must-attend for both enthusiasts and professionals of Lebanese cinema in France. The day unfolded in a warm ambiance, featuring notable films, including several premieres. The lineup included Rima Samman’s Dans le cœur une hirondelle, Liana & Renaud’s La Mer et ses vagues, the special session Salim Saab: Le Cèdre d’octobre, preceded by the short film Dans les yeux de Maya, as well as François Yazbeck's Necrosis and Karim Kassem's Thiiird. The evening culminated beautifully with the French premiere of Hisham Bizri’s Elektra, followed by a discussion with the director.

Established in 2019, the LFFF aims to promote the diversity and creativity of Lebanese cinema by providing a platform for both classic and contemporary productions. Since its first edition in 2020, the festival has attracted an increasing number of spectators, securing its place as a key event on the Francophone cinematic scene. The festival prides itself on facilitating exchanges between France and Lebanon while promoting freedom of expression and cultural diversity. The Lebanese Film Festival of France continues to champion Lebanese cinema in France by fostering cultural exchanges and showcasing contemporary cinematic talents.
