The southern suburb of Beirut was targeted by Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday morning.

These strikes occurred just minutes after an evacuation order issued by the Israeli army and as usual posted by the Arabic-speaking spokesperson, Avichay Adrae, on his X account: "New urgent warning to residents of the southern suburb, especially those in the building indicated on the map located in Haret Hreik. You are in close proximity to facilities and interests belonging to Hezbollah, against which the defense army will act in the near future. For your safety and that of your family, you must immediately evacuate this building and the neighboring buildings, and move away from them by at least 500 meters."

According to the Israeli army, the target was an underground structure of a weapons warehouse. Avichay Adraee stated that "the Israeli army targeted a strategic weapons depot of Hezbollah that was stored in an underground warehouse in the southern suburb of Beirut, based on precise military intelligence."

It had been several days since the suburb had been spared from such strikes. Columns of smoke still rise from the targeted area. Attacks also continue in the south and in the Beqaa region.

Israeli planes conducted a series of strikes targeting villages and towns in the Iqlim al-Touffah region, Nabatieh, Aita al-Shaab and towns in the eastern sector.

Furthermore, a statement from the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health announced that successive Israeli strikes on the town of Qana resulted in the preliminary death of one person and injuries to 30 others. Debris clearance operations are ongoing.

Additionally, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health declared that the Israeli attack on the town of Srifa resulted in the deaths of five people.

Violent clashes erupted between Hezbollah and the Israeli army in Markaba and Rabb Thalithin, while Shebaa was subjected to intense artillery bombardment.
