Syria: Israeli Strike on Iranian Car Factory Near Lebanese Border
Displaced Syrians and Lebanese enter Syria from Lebanon via the Jusiyeh border crossing with Quseir in Syria's central Homs province on October 2, 2024. Lebanon said on October 2 that almost 240,000 people, mostly Syrians, have crossed to Syria since Israel began pounding the country last week with intense air strikes on what it says are Hezbollah targets. ©(Louai Beshara / AFP)

An Israeli strike on Sunday hit a car factory in central Syria, a war monitor said, in the latest such strike in the country or its border with Lebanon in recent days.

The raids struck an empty Iranian car factory in the central region of Homs, causing only material damage, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
