The Israeli army, on Saturday, announced “killing Mohammad Hussein Ali Mahmoud, the operational arm of Hamas in Lebanon.”

In addition, the Israeli army declared that it had targeted “Hezbollah fighters at a mosque in southern Lebanon.”

In the South, Israeli fighter jets attacked the towns of Yanouh and Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain.

The village of Yaroun experienced consecutive raids amid intense low-altitude drone flights over the Tyre region. Additionally, Israel bombarded Bazourieh, while artillery targeted Shebaa and Kfar Hammam.

This Israeli shelling followed a statement from Hezbollah, which claimed responsibility for “raiding the Safad region with rocket weaponry.” Hezbollah also reported “shelling the Karmiel settlement with missiles.”

Four rockets were launched from an Israeli fighter jet at Bourj el-Barajneh-Ain el-Sikka in the southern suburbs of Beirut. This attack came after Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to residents of the southern suburbs to immediately evacuate the area and move at least 500 meters away. Following this announcement, Israeli warplanes bombed Haret Hreik, Ruwais, Mreijeh and Choueifat.

In the Beqaa region, the Masnaa border crossing to Syria was targeted by Israeli warplanes. In Jamaliyeh, north of Baalbeck, Israel destroyed a three-story building. A woman, reported to be a member of the Red Cross, sustained severe wounds in the raids in northern Baalbeck and later died. A house in Hafir, west of Baalbeck, was also bombed.

In the caza of Zahle, the house of the al-Mahmoud family in Saadnayel was struck by an airstrike, resulting in the death of one family member. In the caza of Rashaya, the home of Ali al-Hajj, the director of the Al-Abrar Educational Center, was bombed, leading to his immediate death.

Despite the violence, movement remains normal at the Masnaa border crossing with Syria, with people crossing into Syria after it was cut off due to an Israeli airstrike the previous day.

Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli army reported detecting two rockets launched toward Haifa, one of which was intercepted while the other fell in an open area. Additionally, the Israeli army stated that 38 soldiers had been injured in the past 24 hours. In this context, Israel claimed to have “destroyed a Hezbollah combat zone near the southern borders” and shot down a drone over the northern town of Adamit.

Hezbollah, for its part, claimed to have “launched two Falaq missiles at the settlement of Saasaa” and “shelled the Ramat David base with Fadi 1 rockets.”

Earlier that day, an Israeli airstrike on a motorcycle in Majdal Selm resulted in one person being killed and another wounded.

Al-Hadath Saudi Television quoted Israeli sources estimating that “a total of 700 rockets, shells and drones have been launched from Lebanon since Wednesday.”
