Hezbollah Confirms the Death of Its Executive Council's Vice President
Hezbollah announced the death of its Executive Council's Vice President, Nabil Qaouk, early Sunday afternoon.

According to Hezbollah, Qaouk was “killed in a targeted Israeli airstrike on Chiyah, in the southern suburbs of Beirut, yesterday.”

In a statement, Hezbollah praised Qaouk, saying he “held numerous responsibilities across various units within Hezbollah.  He was a man of integrity and a respected scholar, always present on the frontlines, standing alongside the fighters. His life was marked by honor, selflessness, and sacrifice.”

Earlier in the day, the Israeli military confirmed Qaouk’s death, stating, “We have successfully eliminated Nabil Qaouk, head of Hezbollah's preventive security unit,” as reported by Israeli Army radio.
