The Lebanese women's golf team took part in the fifth Arab Championship, held in Tunisia.
Organized by the Arab Golf Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Tunisian Olympic Committee, the competition was contested by 121 players representing 11 countries.
The Lebanese Golf Federation was led by captain Shadi Bakhour, assisted by Hassan Al Husseini, Alessio Shawish and coach Hassan Qassem.
The team also included players such as Yasmine Husseini (U13), Maria Shawish and Lara Bakhour (U16), as well as Sara and Leah Assad (women's category).
Maria Shawish and Lara Bakhour came third in the U16 category and won the bronze medal.
The only junior player, Milan Shukri, is competing today, September 26, in the U13 category.
