One Dead in an Israeli Raid on Houla
In a flurry of escalating tensions along the Israeli-Lebanese border, Israeli artillery strikes continue on Monday.

An Israeli air raid on the town of Houla Monday afternoon killed one Hezbollah combatant and injured two.

Israeli artillery had targeted the town of Aita al-Shaab with three heavy shells on Monday morning. It launched three artillery shells at the Hounin forest in the Bint Jbeil district.

The areas of Kfar Kila, Kfarchouba and Hanine were subjected to artillery bombardment, as well as the area south of Shebaa.


In a separate incident, an Israeli drone dropped a bomb near Syrian farmers in Wazzani, no injuries were reported.

Hezbollah released a statement applauding the missile attack on Israel carried out by the Houthis on Sunday.

Reports from Israeli Channel 12 detailed the launch of several rockets from Lebanon towards the settlement of Metula, with one anti-tank rocket hitting a building in Metula. Additional rockets landed in the area during the morning.

According to MTV Lebanon, the Israeli Ministry of National Security announced that it has completed re-equipping 97 emergency rooms in northern border towns.
