Tennis: Lebanon Takes on South Africa in Davis Cup
The Lebanese team will play a crucial match against South Africa on September 14 and 15 in the Davis Cup at the Palm Hills Sports Club in Cairo, Egypt, as part of Group II. The winner will advance to a playoff match early next year against a team drawn by lot, with the victor qualifying for Group I.

Lebanon is currently ranked 50th and South Africa 54th in the world, showing a close ranking between the two countries.

Lebanon's coach, former international player Fadi Youssef, has called up the following Cedars players for the match: Benjamin Hassan and Hassan Ibrahim (currently in Italy), Hadi Habib (in Lebanon), Fadi Beidan (in Belgium), and Mustafa Natour (in Spain).

These five players are either participating in international tournaments or training daily.

The Lebanese team will assemble in Cairo on Tuesday, September 10. The Cedars' chances of defeating South Africa on Egyptian soil look promising, with the Lebanese Tennis Federation choosing to hold the match there.
