The Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested, on Friday, the killer of the soldier who was assigned to guard the Beirut Port, after spotting and tracking him through surveillance cameras.
A Lebanese soldier, on guard duty in the vicinity of the Port of Beirut, had been found shot dead on Thursday night.
According to a statement by the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), “The soldier was found dead with two gunshot wounds from a handgun, and his weapon was missing.”
