South Lebanon: One Dead in Drone Strike on Naqoura
A medic from the Islamic Health Committee, affiliated with Hezbollah, was killed and another was injured in an Israeli drone strike on an ambulance in Naqoura. The deceased was 45-year-old Haidar Jahir, also known as Amir, according to a statement from the party. The medics were working to extinguish a fire caused by Israeli shelling in the outskirts of Naqoura at the time of the strike.

Israeli artillery also targeted the village of Wazzani, near Bsatin, on Friday morning. The sound of interceptor missiles exploding above the Marjayoun valley was also heard.


In a series of statements, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for attacks on the headquarters of Division 91 in the Biranit barracks, the Baghdadi position, Iron Dome launchers, a military building in the Shomira settlement and the Ma’ayan Baruch position. The pro-Iranian group also claimed to have targeted a military building in the Al-Manara settlement and the Ramot Naftali settlement on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, the Arabic spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, announced that four Hezbollah military buildings in Aitaroun and Markaba were targeted on Thursday night.
