The International Table Tennis Tournament of Beirut entered its final phase on Wednesday. Organized by the Lebanese Table Tennis Federation under the supervision of the International Federation, this significant sporting event takes place in the halls of al-Kawthar Secondary School in Beirut.
In the men's singles category, competitors fiercely battled in the round of 16, with remarkable performances from players Chuang Xie Yuan from Taipei, Ioannis Sgouropoulos from Greece and Eric Jouti from Brazil. The day saw intense doubles matches, with the victory of Andy Pereira and Jorge Campos from Cuba in the quarterfinals. Remarkable pairings like Manush Utpalbhai Shah and Diya Parag Chitale from India also progressed in the mixed doubles category.
The women's singles matches were equally captivating, with players like Do Hua Kim from Hong Kong and Arshana Girish Kamath from India dominating. In the women's doubles, Do Hwa Kim and Zhu Xingzhu from Hong Kong showcased their skill.
