Accra Hosts the 13th All-Africa Games
From March 8 to 23, 2024, Ghana's vibrant capital Accra will be the stage for the 13th edition of the All-Africa Games. After a wait of five long years, this continental multi-sport competition promises fifteen days of captivating clashes, featuring 5000 elite athletes from every corner of Africa. What's more, this competition will be the official qualifier for the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

For the 13th edition of the Accra 2023 All-Africa Games, 29 sporting disciplines have been selected, eight of which will qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. These eight Olympic disciplines include: athletics, badminton, cycling, swimming, table tennis, tennis, triathlon and associated wrestling.

Accra, the dynamic capital of Ghana, is preparing to host a new edition of the All-Africa Games. A continent-wide multi-sport event that will bring together elite African athletes, ready to compete in a wide range of disciplines, with soccer kicking off on March 7.

The All-Africa Games 2024 are officially scheduled from March 8 to 24, 2024. However, the excitement begins on March 7 with the start of the soccer event. Athletes will compete in a variety of disciplines, including soccer, taekwondo, athletics, judo, karate, wrestling, swimming, beach volleyball, triathlon, table tennis and badminton.

Accra, Host Capital of the All-Africa Games 2024
Accra will have the honor of hosting the 2024 All-Africa Games. The city is preparing to welcome athletes from all over Africa, with an organization that promises to live up to expectations and infrastructures ready to host the competitions. Despite adjustments to the dates due to economic pressures and differences between the African sports confederations and the African Union, the Games will retain the name Accra 2023.
