The Lebanese national team beat the Saudi Arabian team by three goals to one in their second match at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium as part of the West Asian Women's Championship.
This victory enabled our national team to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament and play their third match for the group lead against the Jordanian team.
The Course of the Match
The Lebanese team scored their first goal through their player, Christy Maalouf, in the third minute, before the Saudi defender scored a goal in her own net in the seventh minute to give the Lebanese team a 2-0 lead.
Cynthia Salha increased the score with a penalty in the thirty-eighth minute, and the team returned to the locker room with a clear thirty-goal advantage.

The Saudi team entered the second half of the match with a high level of concentration and translated their dominance with two goals in the sixty-second and eighty-second minutes, amid missed opportunities by the Lebanese team, who were able to finish the match with their experience on a score of 3-2.
An Important Victory
This victory secured the team's qualification for the semi-finals, and they will play their third match for the group lead on Friday against the Jordanian team.
It's a match that won't be easy for either team, who excelled in their opening games and showed strong character, and are considered favorites to win the tournament.
All that remains is to wish the women's team good luck after such a performance.
