- Anti-Hamas Protests in Rafah
In Rafah, south of Gaza, where over a million Palestinian refugees live in terror of an Israeli offensive, demonstrations were organized against Hamas and its leader, Yahya Sinwar.
"Down with Hamas", "Sinwar, go away", “The people are the ones paying the price”, chanted the protesters on videos shared on social media networks.
The protests are believed to have been triggered by a video circulated earlier which showed Sinwar sitting in a safe hideout, feeling secure.
