Hezbollah retaliated on Thursday night against the attack that targeted a car in Nabatiyeh earlier in the day, where several Hezbollah officials were present.

According to various media reports, Ali Karaki, one of Hezbollah’s military leaders, was the primary target, but he was not in the targeted vehicle. Another Hezbollah official, Abbas Debbes, was reportedly severely wounded in the attack. Neither the armed group nor the Israeli army confirmed his death.

In response to this strike, Hezbollah fired approximately 30 rockets at the headquarters of the third infantry brigade at the Ain Zitim base.

Meanwhile, early on Friday morning, the Israeli army launched an airstrike on a house in Aita al-Shaab, causing extensive damage. Villages in the western and central sectors of South Lebanon were also hit by Israeli attacks, with air raids and intensive shelling reported in Tayr Harfa, Al-Jibin, Dhayra, Naqoura, Yaroun and Aita al-Shaab. Additionally, Israeli machine-gun fire targeted the localities of Ramish, Aita al-Shaab and al-Bustan.
