At around 5 PM local time, the screens read:
“In the name of the Lord and the people: Rafic Hariri Airport is not the airport of Hezbollah and Iran. Hassan Nasrallah, you will not find one supporter if Lebanon is plunged into war.
You bear the responsibility and consequences of war. Hezbollah will not be fighting on behalf of anyone. You destroyed our port and now it is attacking you. You destroyed our airport because of the introduction of weapons. Let the airport be freed from the grip of the mini-state.”
The message was displayed with two logos, that of the “Saheb al-Kalam” social media account and that of “Jnoud el-Rab” (Soldiers of the Lord). In a video shared on social networks, young people claiming to be members of Jnoud el-Rab denied that their group was behind the hacking.
