Southern Front Clashes Kill Mukhtar of Taybeh
Clashes between Hezbollah and the Israeli army resumed on Monday afternoon after a slight period of calm in the morning.

In an exchange of artillery fire on both sides of the border, the mukhtar of Taybeh, Hussein Mansour, was killed by a shell that landed on the outskirts of the town’s border.

The Israeli army also shelled the center of Kfar Hamam, damaging a house, and villages such as Kfar Kila, Deir Mimas, Ain Zarqa and Mohaybib. Naqoura, Alma al-Shaab and Jabal el-Loubneh in the western sector were also targeted by Israeli shells. Five interceptor missiles exploded in the air over Hula, Mays al-Jabal and Aitaroun.

The Israeli air force also dropped bombs on the outskirts of Jabal el-Rihan, in the Jezzine region. A small drone also went down near Jdeidet Marjayoun due to a technical failure.

In addition, several shells were fired in the direction of Lebanese territorial waters facing Ras Naqoura.

For its part, Hezbollah launched six missiles from Khraybeh in the direction of the Ramtha and Samaka positions in the Shabaa Farms, triggering an Israeli response at Habbariyeh and Ferdais.

Hezbollah also announced that it had targeted an Israeli post at Sammaka in the Shebaa Farms, the Hadab el-Bustan site and the Branit barracks. The pro-Iranian party also carried out a direct strike on the Al-Raheb position with Burkan (volcano) missiles.

Finally, on Monday, Hezbollah announced the death of two of its fighters from southern Lebanon.

Early in the morning, the Israeli army announced that it intercepted eight missiles from Lebanon, fired towards the western Galilee sector where alarm sirens had sounded. Two of these missiles landed in an unpopulated area. In retaliation, Israel bombed several border regions in southern Lebanon, including Naqoura, Zebqine, Yarine, Marwahin, Jebbain, Shhine, Alma al-Shaab and Jabal el-Labbouneh.
