The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned on Thursday the criminal acts perpetrated by Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
In a statement, the Ministry denounced the international community for not “taking deterrent or accountability measures” against Israeli war crimes, which have resulted in “approximately 1,000 Palestinian residents being affected in the West Bank this year.”
Furthermore, it called on the international community “to take immediate action to halt the unilateral and illegal Israeli measures, which undermine all opportunities and initiatives to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in our region.”
“These aggressive measures coincide with a severe onslaught on the Gaza Strip, systematically causing destruction and claiming the lives of thousands, with numerous casualties among innocent civilians, particularly children, women and the elderly,” stated the Ministry.
