Playing Cards of 'Most-Wanted' Hamas Members
Inspired by the US' approach in Iraq, Israeli troops in Gaza receive 10,000 decks featuring 52 most-wanted Hamas members, Ynetnews informed. Simultaneously, American Christian volunteers distribute similar cards in southern Israel and Gaza, as reported by The Jerusalem Post.

10,000 decks have been distributed to Israeli troops in Gaza, featuring 52 of the most-wanted members of Hamas, according to Ynetnews. The deck includes the leader of the Hamas group in the Gaza strip, Yahya Sinwar, and the chief of the Hamas military wing, Mohammed Deif. Despite the unclear origin of the initiative, Ynetnews suggests it could be used as an identification tool for soldiers in battle or to symbolize a potential resolution to the conflict, outlining the objective of either removing or apprehending all depicted Hamas leaders and thereby establishing a defined conclusion for the war.

This action is not new; the United States used a similar approach before. The “52 Most-Wanted Iraqi Playing Cards,” officially known as “Personality Identification Playing Cards,” were developed by a team of five DIA Army intelligence officers and NCOs to help ground troops identify members of Saddam Hussein's regime after the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Simultaneously, a group of American "Christian cowboys" volunteering in Israel is distributing decks of playing cards featuring cartoons pictures of the top wanted Hamas terrorists to Israeli soldiers in southern Israel and Gaza, as reported by The Jerusalem Post.

The deck includes 12 high-ranking Hamas figures as the head of the Islamist movement, Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, the spokesperson of the al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, the head of the al-Qassam Brigades, Mohammed Deif, the deputy commander-in-chief of the al-Qassam Brigades, Marwan Issa, the deputy chairman of Hamas’s political bureau and military commander of the West Bank, Saleh al-Arouri, the former head of Hamas’s political bureau, Khaled Mashal, the political leader of Hamas, Fathi Hamad, Hamas operative Ra’ad Saad, and senior commander in the Hamas military wing, Mohammed Sinwar. However, The Jerusalem Post notes that the most-wanted list is not an official document.
